I wish I could have liked the game more when it was free, but the gacha and daily aspects of it were bothersome.
Is it any good to buy now that is one purchase only?

feels outdated, dull, repetitive
i tried it when they released the offline version, absolute garbage
even worse than new horizons
non-existent interactions with the villagers, there's nothing to do besides collecting different shit, gifting it to the villagers, and collecting rewards, then repeating it several dozen times until you're done for the day
it still had daily stuff like any other ac game, and worse, you have to actually do shittons of grind to unlock the stuff that gets rotated around daily/weekly
just wait for petit planet, heartopia, floatopia, animula nook, etc
if you wanna play a lifesim that has to be opened daily, might as well play ones that are updated regularly with refreshing content, events and multiplayer minigames
