I think daima goku is a good, strong addition to many teams and is a powerful unit, but he's probably my least favorite kind of character. Characters who are pretty consistent and aren't exceptionally dependent on tons of favorable RNG are certainly nice to have in a game filled with coinflips but I also feel like it means that once you've seen him do his thing a few times, there's nowhere else to go. I feel this way about SS4 Gogeta, Omega, and Tao. On the other hand, characters like Hit, Baby, hybrid trio, or the 10th anni fusions or even Yamcha tend to be more fun for me because they can have some more risk-reward and higher performance ceilings. I think it's very important to have character diversity and avoid excessively homogenous design, but it does mean that I find certain types of characters much duller to use than others. Gomah is really strong, but it's more about his near invincibility early, the giant form, and his defense support. The 150% stack is misunderstood and highly overrated. It's definitely good that he has it, but in practice it's less than he would get from 30% on super like most stackers. It is nice that he gets it unconditionally based on turn, though. He'll be in the same spot as a lot of units right now: Strong in his first 2-3 rotations, ass fucked by the comical 16 million super attacks for the next 15 turns, then defensively stacked to the point nothing can touch him after that.

Gomah has to be the hardest unit to build. Dodge has actual worth to extend his invincibility as long as possible but his crit rate is still shit and his 12 ki has utility on top of the damage. It's probably best to wait and see 11th anni content before committing.

Broly and Hit are good examples of units that are "built for festival" but can ultimately end up doing a disadvantageous amount of damage and make your run harder. Broly one shots every phase you want to build up on, so you want to put him in the second or third slot to not steal the phase, but you also want him to get supered, but you also want him to super, etc. etc. I've had a number of runs end at daima/gogeta/vegito because broly did too much early and didn't do enough late. Gomah is a step in the right direction, but again, categories are a challenge and there's not enough unit variety to make each of these units work well. I understand why the event is the way that it is, but I'd appreciate a version with no missions or something that has no charge count. It's not a very fun sandbox when you have to stress about 30 unfun turns before you really get anywhere

Hybrids trio stage and tamagami 1 might be a little tough for them but in fairness it's the same way for 99% of the game

Why be forced to balance and invent Limit Breaker Super Saiyan 5 Gogito when you could re-do OG kaioken goku with a 5% damage buff to allies and have that sell? I think dokkan does have an advantage in the sense that the user is the hardware owner, so they're not always bound to a specific cabinet imposing technical limitations - but they will have to get creative sooner rather than later to avoid the progress of the game being strictly bigger numbers. Maybe the new mode will be an avenue to achieve that. Funny enough though, for what it's worth, this is probably the 5th or 6th time rampant power creep has had people frustrated and thinking the game is dying.

INT Droids are currently "bugged". Their passive text is the same as other "get defense when receiving an attack" units (like 16) but on the DB it's effectively "when receiving a second attack". If you've noticed unusually poor or inconsistent performance from them, that's why. They're eating the first hit with about 1/3 the actual defense they should have. I imagine they'll fix it soon because it's not "wrong wording" but a wrongly implemented effect
