Tried star savior on steam so here's my review. Keep in mind that i'm just a JSL playing with JP VA and text so i skipped a large portion of the texts.
the pros:
>character models look good without being overdesigned and have a wide range of expression(each character has a unique set of expressions)

>clean UI, haven't seen any text overflow or oversized texts
>so far it's comfy, no plot urgency

>JP translations seem good enough, some inconsistencies but probably nothing major

my other suggestion was gonna be doujins too. it has the tagging problem (exh's netorare tag is worthless as reverse ntr is often tagged as such and ntr isn't tagged unless we see the mc squirm or whatever) but is much easier to spot once you've trained the neural net of your brain to spot signs of cuck just by quickly scanning the thumbnails. it also has the sequel problem, and for that I do a massive analysis on all doujin authors and keep a short list of the ones that do not make it into my blacklist, under a one drop rule. without it it's a russian roulette when the author releases a sequel out of nowhere.

there are some that are kind of lewd, but mostly on the skins
the game is good because it triples down on the chibis being really immature, they are assholes, greedy, and inconsiderate, so you really end up seeing them as literal kids instead of chibi adults. so when shit hits the fan it hits you like a sack of bricks to the back of your head and it hurts to see them sad or suffering. the story is really funny because the devs insist on the game being b tier and staying there, instead of trying to compete with A or AA gachas (one of the plot points was that the chibis couldn't invade a country because it had a parking gate arm that they could push, when (we) arrived we pulled it upwards and the problem was solved)
