Endfield's base building that's not directly tied to the banner characters gives you zero money, and zero for AP for that matter.Let's talk about exploration. You want to run faster, cross water quicker, get to a higher spot, or fly... you have to use the kibos. Everything is tied to the kibos, so every single character is basically just a reskin when you're exploring the open world, what's the point in rolling for new units if you're only playing for the exploration or base building? Everyone riding the kibos mount moves at the same speed same stamina, same everything, so pulling new characters doesnt give you an edge over the old ones at all.Just look at Genshin. What they did with integrating characters and the world is fucking amazing and I'm not even a Hoyo shill. Want to cross a river? You can ice bridge with ganyu or just switch to furina and walk on water. Need to get somewhere high up? Either climb or just make a Zhongli pillar, or use Venti's skill or whatever. You get the picture. The characters actually give you freedom to play with the world in your own way, and that's what makes them worth the pulls and fun to play.Now back to Endfield and AP. The characters all feel identical and interact with the world the exact same way because they're just secondary. They have zero impact on the environment interaction. All AP main activities and gameplay are completely locked to the Kibos.
