It's harder to get the real stuff, right? Because fest banners have a lot of extra ubers in the pool and have no guaranteed ubers. So it will take a lot of rare tickets and catfoods, even if tracking. And platinum tickets need to be kept in case of track change from what I understand.

I only have enough catfoods for 3-4 pulls anyways. So I'll get what I get.

I just learned that catamin stages give catfood too. Really tempted to do the catfruit stages catamins before they disappear.

in terms of tracking not necessarily. well there's no guaranteed for fest ubers, but collab ubers arent in platinum banner like fest ubers are, so it evens out... in the end it'll depend on your own seed in question.
it's good to have a platinum in case there's a track swap you want to dodge, but with correct planning you can just use guaranteed banners to swap back anyway so you don't always need platinum for that.

example track scenario: a fest has a good uber on A track but a forced trackswap to B from dupe rare beforehand. you can plan ahead and use a guaranteed before that fest even appears to swap back to the track you need to be at.

The Gauntlet, the final Awakened Eva-13 stage and the Mass-Produced Eva stage seem to be missing, so there's less to do, at least. after 2 and a half years, finally completed all base upgrades

I thought with powerful gacha ubers (lunos, etc.), I could rush the rest of the stories of legends -> catseye cats to higher level -> complete heavenly tower before it’s gone.

Well, didn’t work out that way. Starting around lil nyandam, the stories of legends stages become really gimmicky or just plain difficult. And it’s not like I can become stronger in the process. I already leveled the important cats to level 40. Already trueformed the important cats. Only CotC 3 treasures left, won’t move the needle that much anyways even if I have them. So I will need to struggle for the last third of stories of legends, those 9 star difficulty maps + higher enemy magnifications, with only rarely some cheese or convenient solutions. Each stage either takes a long time, or requires multiple repeats and team adjustments. And the cats stay at the same strength the whole way, no improvement can be made.

Because unlike every other honest, christian, perfectly fair and carefully balanced fest uber, Lunos can be mindlessly spammed off cooldown to make the game easier (shocker).

Basically he has a 10 second cooldown and knockback on hit and on a surge summon so in theory he can keep pushing back things indefinitely as long as you have money.

Finally ran out of Rich Cat item. I need Rich Cat to make the 9*-10* stages manageable with my current cats. But I really don't want to grind for it.

I now understand why people are glazing and frosting the hell out of uf cosmo, his damage & lv10 waves are splendid, coupled with his standing range and omnistrike.

But at the same time, he makes the game really boring. Due to just how effective he is at being a super backliner, especially on majority of stages where they were never designed with strong super backliners in mind.

Imo, him, phonoa, and luno are very boring ubers. And lugas should, nay, need game breaking ultra forms to make up for their 5 minutes long cooldown. And that they die to a stiff breeze.

Ponos if you're reading this. Make game breaking ultra forms for lugas, and make kasa jizo seasonal variants or just more ultra souls in general.

How do you even take a break from this game?

The apple id/google syncing has 90 days cooldown. So if you uninstall, and reinstall, you can login with apple id only ONCE more. Then the 90 days timeout starts. If you uninstall again, you'll need to wait 90 days until you can login again. In other gacha games, I uninstalled and reinstalled often when I got burned out. Can't do that with battle cats. Sure, you can say "just take a 90 days break". But what if suddenly a collab you want shows up? Jojo for example. And collabs seem to have 2-3 months gap, so it's almost guaranteed there will be a collab during the 90 days wait time.

An alternative would be perhaps to do a code transfer to a device you don't use.

While this is true, Bikkuriman has one of the three collab-limited Legend Rare units. So the fact that EN skipped it the last time it dropped made it impossible for people who started playing on or after 27th of October, 2020 to fill the hole in the roster - for many the only one in the whole Legend Rare list, especially now that we've had the chance to grab the other two collab ones within the last three months. Completionism is a part of every gacha, after all.

After having done literally everything else, I went back to finish the Towers, and - at least in HT, and at least at lvl. 40 - Knuckles from the Sonic collab is a good addition to a Floor 44 team:

>Strong against Red and immune to Weaken, so he can pummel on Hannya
>Bulky enough to land two or three attack cycles when the black mobs show up, even knockback a Gory once or twice

By no means a secret weapon, but great for buying a little time.
By contrast, Sonic himself dies from a single attack from Hannya, so at most he'd small-kb Clionel once before dying, and for $3000 that's not a good deal.

Annoying bug. I did the Doll Cat Awakens some time ago when the monthly awakening stages show up in a set of 3. Like now, currently we have reindeer, salaryman, sports day awakening stages.

I didn’t have Doll Cat back then. But now that I unlocked it, it won’t evolve. Wtf. Why did I bother to complete these awakening stages ahead if they are buggy, damn it? They took too long, because a lot of them are really tanky. And now I probably need to do them again? And that may not even solve the bug.

I just noticed that when the reward for clearing a stage is a random things from a set of possible items (like the "three Catseyes", "three Catamins" or "five build mats" from Infernal Tower) it doesn't just say whatever's first one the list, but they added an "etc." to imply different possibilities. A small improvement, but an improvement nonetheless, I wonder when they actually implemented it.

Curiously, what made you want to start playing Battle Cats? My exact start to the game was when I found out that it was having the most recent Metal Slug collab back in November of 2024. So, I'm still fairly new to the game still but I've been deep into it since, more or less. I naively hope that they bring back the Miku collab but I seriously doubt it ever will.

The schedule is crazy, the Japs had four Miku collabs within 12 month between start of March 2020 and start of March 2021, then had to wait for October 2023 for the next one (a little over 2.5 years). I wouldn't expect another one until 2027. MAYBE late 2026, if you're good.

But then we have Iz the Dancer of Grief's description, which states that she was "born in a world overflowing with grief", and "prays to the gods in a world of death and destruction". Just what happened in this timeline?!!

..Now, this is where Kasli comes into play.

Her Dark description states that "she has become the personification of disaster itself," while her light description states that "(her) soul is a prison to 1000 vengeful ghosts". In addition, "she wanders the land desperately seeking to finally find inner peace"

But in this timeline, she never finds peace. She likely snapped somewhere previously, and unleashed all sorts of horrors on this world...

Sooooooooooo..... this idea basically is that KASLI is the one behind the cruel and barren world that the EPICFEST units are a part of. She had become disaster itself, and burned down this world as we know it. Many deaths and losses ensued (Mitima), and darkened many heroes (D'arktanyan) and spirits (Phonos/Garu). This reality became dark and hopeless, left to rot away in the cruel, harsh reality that is theirs...

since i posted last on my no uber playthru i beat itf chapter 1! clione was a struggle at first..i could beat the 2 ursa major waves and the first alien pigge, but id die to the second alien pigge
so i grinded ur and levelled my rares to 25 and equipped rover cat and he made it free
i got lucky in the gacha early getting swimmer cat and paris early..still no castaway but a lot of useless until true formed cc cats
and i beat crazed eraser jst tn. it was sooo much fun and so intense. keeping consistent with my meatshielding made my hand numb xd. it was so much fun managing my money, sniper cat, and bahamut cat cooldown
the cycle of building a paris stack only to watch it get obliterated once they pushed upwas heartbreaking tho ;-;

I used the opportunity to jump over to the JPN side and check out the Demon Slayer collab. But not only am I in a relative Uber desert, there's two supposed deep-red uber spots (out of five) within my next 50 pulls that are actually just miscolored pink "Super Rare/Fest only Uber" spots, literally every other actual Uber spot for the next 100 pulls is Tanjiro. I just finished the current final chapter of zl. Holy shit le'prude was much more difficult than I expected, I didn't imagine he would be a "built your entire team around his bullshit" type of enemy. The worst is that he actually manages to snipe newton so you can't cuck le'prude prof.A-style. Though his very simple design is heavily in contrast to that so it's kinda funny to see you ass being kicked by red reskinned le'boin in the middle of all the stuff happening in zl.

I made the mistake of believing that the Gamatoto catseye caverns from the anniversary event were a recurring thing and spent my uber catseyes a bit too frivolously.

After popping in a Leadership to have a few goes at Wahwah, I managed to beat him once and never again (fucking Zang Roo), so I decided to use my final 100 Energy to hopefully clear another Legend Quest level... It was a full Metal one (Bionic Seaweed, https://battlecats.miraheze.org/wiki/Bionic_Seaweed), and all that was left of my anti-Metal team was Future Cat, Moneko (as part of the Crit up combo) and Lufalan. With the help of some other meatshields and Valentines Balrog (random CCs) I managed to stall the enemies long enough that the third Waterblast got rid of all of them except the Seal before they could get to the base... And then, in perfect comedic timing, another wave of enemies (including another Seal) showed up in the frame.
Now I'm angry.

I haven't played in 2 years, and lost my account for an equal amount of time, don't remember anything.
Will I be able to recover my account?

Abyssal Wahwah cleared, which got me past a big threshold.
Dark Catseyes have been out for over three years, I've been trying ro farm them ever since, and since I've only recently started getting my most used Uber to level 50, there was no way or need to use them.

We *just* had a collab that actually put effort into the unit designs. A good chunk of the Eva collab units are nice both uber and non. There's Kalsi Asuka and Miko Rei, AAA Wunder, Baby Cat Shinji, the series of rare cats cosplaying as show characters. Those are novel things that make collabs actually interesting instead of shit like this and most of the Street Fighter collab where they just plop a character in it and call it a day.
Honestly, even that wouldn't be TOO bad sometimes if the aesthetics matched. But no, they're just (mostly) regularly proportioned humans.

I just hope that if the Demon Slayer collab comes back in the future, Ponos eventually adds - separate from the "lore accurate" version, either as a Unit or just an enemy - a Muzan Cat unit that's a redressed Dancer Cat.

There's too many ubers in this game in general. Ponos should expand the rare and super rare pool by making some banner exclusive units at those rarities. Also make more "big/expensive" units at those rarities so that players don't have to dip into the uber pool if they don't want to.

I experienced a glitch today.

You would think it would be 27A too for Cat Clan Heroes.

1st case: 10 pulls from 17A Thief Cat to 26A, then a bonus guaranteed Lesser Demon Cat without changing seed position, just changing track so 27B instead of 27A

2nd case:
- 10 pulls, get cat gunslinger as the first pull
- then 18B to 26B for the the other 9 pulls
- you would think your position would be then 27A
- but now there’s an 1 position OFFSET when you return to track A from track B, so it becomes 28A
- you do NOT get 27B

Whenever there's two of the same Rare cat in a row, the second one gets replaced with a different one and you get switched to the other track.
So if you pull Thief Cat from 16A, you get the Gunslinger route and Cat Clan Heroes.
The only way to get Lesser Demon Cat is to NOT pull the Thief Cat on 16A, therefore allowing you to pull for Thief Cat on 17A. And the only way to do that is to pull a Platinum Ticket (or a Legend Ticket, but you shouldn't waste those of such a trivial thing) on 16A.

I managed to recover my account from 2 years ago.
What important changes have been made since then?

For reference I have cleared all Main Maps up to Cats of The Cosmos 3 + Aku.
Currently in "Diver's City" in Uncanny Legends
I remember a trio of "MonHun/Behemoth" Maps which I didn't complete.
Hardest Advent Stage I remember doing was the huge Kappa guy, Cone Cat I think I got from it.

For example I just noticed there's Zombie Outbreaks for CotC 3 which I didn't have before.
