Some people get filtered by it but I promise you if you just give it time it's all worth it. It was one of the first tv shows to have an actual plot instead of just random episodic stories. Almost every episode has something important going on that matters in the long run. All the setups pay off, no gay mystery boxes.

How is the new player on experience these days? I always wanted to try this game, but I don't want to start another gacha that completely swamps you with 1000 things at once at the beginning, no natural progression due to too much stuff you get that you don't understand and in general a lack of polish for the first 100hours of the game.
