So while browsing through my Play Store - you could say this is my version of doomscroll, i do think it's better than social media doomscroll - i found an interesting game titled "her tears were my light"."That title sounded peak," i thought to myself at that moment. And the icons, the images, they all have this art style i am quite fond of. And what's this - holy crap, it's only like 15 MB?? And it's got a perfect 5 star rating from 56K reviews. It's also made by NomnomNami. That's a big dev name.My first impression of the game was a little surprised, in a good way. I was immediately welcomed with a calming soundtrack, and a black void title screen. I can already tell i am in for a nice comfy meal. There's even gallery! You just know a VN is good when it has a gallery section. (right. This is quite late into the review, but this game is an interactive choice based VN. I really like VN because they require not much skills from me. I can just sit back, ponder about the ethics and morality of my choices, and click my way through the game.)I wouldn't go into detail or try to analyze the story of the game. But all i have to say is that it's a good [Yuri] game. If you have watched Madoka Magica, you might like this since it's kinda the same (is this a spoiler? Well it's a contextual spoiler anyway) but instead of Lesbian Magical Girls, you get Lesbian Cosmical Girls. How interesting does that sound?Also this story has much to do with time travel related stuffs, and some stuffs about the meaning of being in relationship. I'd give the story aspect a solid 8/10. It's not too complex or touching (atleast for me), but it's s the right amount. Get it? It's like your average good written story. You could finish it in an hour or so. It's like a good snack.The strong point of this game is its drawing and music. They are really good and comforting.Game mechanic is simple with a lil twist. Your average choice game. 8/10Overall, a solid 8/10. Go play it.
