I like Pasio Tower, it might be the only mode that I have few complaints for.

If it's actually tied to enemy actions that's far better than a regular timer since it means you can use all the long animations you want. I prefer them making him strong in the absence of EX Zone so that his damage can only go up even further when another unit (ideally Support) brings it. If they built him around EX Zone it'd be tied to one of his actions to hold him back, but a Support's inactivity is better than his since they're not about inflicting damage.

She was part of the reason Poison teams started to be considered OP but she's fallen out of favor as more broken Poison units have been released. Last year they introduced Arc Suits which can ONLY be upgraded with general 5 star candies, and they also raised the spark cap by 100 points. It's also surprising they're giving out an older Master Fair character for free. EX Master Fairs are also an actual improvement for once, no trade-off (limited featured character for 10% 5* rate, limited 1% featured character for 12% 5* rate, limited characters in pool and 300 spark but paid gems only) or straight downgrades like Arc Fairs and Variety Scouts. I also remember last year they ran so many reruns of event characters that you couldn't buy out the shops unless you played perfectly.

But what's really shitty about this year was from February through most of August. Four Arc Fairs, five Master Fairs, Academy which is just Pay-to-RNG stamina dump: The Mode.

As opposed to a monkey pointing fingers at arbitrary checkmarks like status and dual coverage being checked off? Damage is always going to be the best measure because it's what you always need. There's no stage and there never will be where you win by just setting interference or just debuffing or just setting WTZ etc since there's always HP involved you have to zero out. The random conditions are easy to fulfill. If this were years ago I would've said they should've given him Piercing Blows to complement his output, but even that's worthless to chase these days because of them bypassing it by buffing enemy bulk if they want instead of reducing damage, so it's far easier to just run a unit who deletes anything (Red) and fulfill whatever conditions expected with your allies.
Also, NC Red and Ash accomplishing what they did WERE benchmark feats. The game has progressed past that, but the extent to which Anni Red outpaces preexisting units is far greater than the extent to which Ash and his B Move for instance exceeded everything that came before. The only ones that aren't seeing it are the ones who don't have him, don't know how to play him, or just don't want to see it. I've already seen plenty of the 2nd. It's one thing to dismiss unga bunga, but it's another to fail to recognize how you can reach a level of unga bunga that outperforms the endpoint of all your enemy softening and posturing and ally buffing.

Straight damage units do get shelved but so do other kinds of units anyway. It's not like as many people go to Fall Iris for Poison Zone or SS Blue for tanking. They really should make it that when you want to max out your level at 140, it just stops at 180. This is the second time I've wasted plaques I wanted to save.
