Thread QuestionQuartz: Well, his partner Pokémon Hiver is Mesprit (though she disguises herself as a Gardevoir so as not to draw attention), so he reacts with some level of surprise, but it is lower than one would expect.Gabriel: In the campaign he is in, the meeting of legendary Pokémon is so common that it is getting absurd. he even learned that he is the child of Xerneas (And was originally female). I don't think Gabriel can even disunite what is common and legendary at this point, so much has happened.Eifnr: He'd be in awe and come before the Pokémon with as much respect as he can muster, but he'd be hoping for a battleDarius: I am unsure. On one hand, he is on a war path and would likely want to know the best way to take them out if they became his enemies. on the other hand, they should be revered.Seline: When she started her adventure, she didn't like how the god like Pokémon were butting into her business, but that has more or less smoothed out by now. Seline enjoys getting the occasional quest from them now. She sees them as something akin to her bosses now.
I forget if I ever mentioned this OC before in one of these threads, but I have a girl from Galar named Seline Undergrowth. She is from a royal bloodline, and her favorite catch phrase is "I am going to be Queen of Galar!"Her starter is a Delphox named Edith, which she got imported into the country as a fennekin through Dexit. They have been best friends for as long as she can remember. She was overly sheltered growing up, forbidden from leaving the palace she grew up in, but one day, her father told her to go out and win the championship. She didn't need to be told twice; any excuse to get away from her father and that house.her mother died from stress, and she blames her father for it. She has a phobia of being alone. Seline loves to battle and is fiercely competitive. She and her traveling companions somehow managed to get wrapped up in a major conspiracy, and though it has been reached out to by every organization, and even the legendary.
Adult Seline. She wears mourning jewelry in remembrance of her mother. It is a timeskip, since her story is not finished, but this version has already achieved her goal of becoming Galar's Campaign. Whether to not that becomes canon will have to wait and see.

The fact that she is the descendant of the man in charge of the witch hunts caused concern in all of her friends, but she was just happy to finally prove that she was indeed royalty. A bonus was that being the Royal Executioner meant that she became the hitman for the legendary pantheon. As for her phobia, you are right. She never sleeps alone, and early in the campaign, she tried to make excuses as to why the group she traveled with should share a tent instead of having one per person. It's not hard, klutzes are cute because their antics result in slapstick comedy and induce chain events of disasters, or otherwise evoke pity, have your OCs slip ups result in something funny but awful happening to themselves or others. Pairing it up with a cute appearance helps evoke a big "Awwww" by making your audience want to coddle or protect them. There will always be people who find it annoying, but that's not a matter of executing the trope correctly as much as it is some people not having their brain wired to care for (or lovingly bully) cute, helpless things.

I will be playing my character Eifnr as he and his friends figure out what they are going to be doing in the lands in the Entra Link, called Issyu.Eifnr and his friends have mysterious Greek letters on their bodies; thus, they are called the "Signers," and we found out that the gijinkas here are willing to kill us so that the power gets passed down to them, or wish to turn us into gijinkas and have us on their side.Because Eifnr and the others were sent to the PMD world without their memories, they did live a whole other life before they got their memories and humanity back; however, the inner Pokémon and their human minds never reconciled, so now we gotta deal with that or risk having our "inner Pokémon" take over.The interesting thing, though, is that these are not our main OCs here. After today's session, we will only set up what they will be up to for the remainder of the campaign and move back to another cast. I have not played Quartz in months.

While they were vets of war, integrating these half-Pokémon back into normal society was difficult. The first kings tried to do their best, but as the generations went on, public opinion shifted, and they were forced into the Entra Link.

And when all the signers came together, the sword broke, and we all got a fragment of it. All the hybrids bowed, save for the "Dragon Zodiac" Scylla. The Zodiacts are the leaders of Issyu and Eifnr, and the others are going to have to unite them somehow to end this war. Eifnr doesn't really like all of this, but he is willing to raise hell in order to get back to the human world and get back to gym battles and League stuff.

I think that most places in the Pokemon world would be similar to post-Christian Scandinavia or the less religious parts of Japan, with social norms largely derived from secular humanism.In my original writing, Anti-Abrahamic Religion is probably the only "additional" major theme which I don't also cover in fanfic. If anyone remembers my fantasy stuff, I had a draft for a "Cult/Church of Arceus" based on the state religion of Mondstadt which is based on the Catholic Church, and it's depicted as the stereotypical corrupt institution that people see it as when thinking of the medieval church. Arceus himself is also portrayed as careless, never even actually showing up in the storyline and said to only ever intervene when the World Is About To End. However, the existence of Clerics and Paladins implies that Arceus at least cares a little bit.

Thinking about religion in Pokémon, because and my table I have several games set in the same canon, we set up the Legendary Pokémon based on the Greek Pantheon. They are all sons and daughters of Arceus and Mew. They have a lot of in-fighting, and pride makes them unwilling to cooperate or ask for outside help. There is a Keldio in our Pokémon Grey who is a great example of how they act. He is justice personified, willing to do anything for the right cause, even before he knows all the facts. He agreed to a life-altering contract without reading the details of it just because it might help someone in need. All the other legendries are similar; they are almost insane in a way, unknowable to mortals. In Galar Girls, the game with Seline and her friends in it, Giratina wanted to quit his job and has been grooming Seline's best friend Kai, so that she might one day take his mantle.
