Rather than give you Diancie, why not a means to mutate a Carbink into one? That way natures and IVs and shinyness are determined beforehand.

Same company that had the same selection of legendaries in two games releases months apart but shiny locked them in the game with actual effort put into them to make autists buy the other.Darkrai and Shaymin are save bonuses in Arceus meaning you can get them repeatedly but limited time event in BDSP so you had to buy the Chinese outsourced garbage early if you wanted to get Sonic the Hedgehog in Pokemon.
