those are jobber types
>>58189097They use the most autistic types for the pokemon with the most autistic fans. The types in your image are for normal people.
>>58189097Eternatus could have been the one but...Calyrex was tecnically a cover legend? But it loses grass
>>58189102He says like the series wasn't created by a bug autist
>>58189097Just waiting on the day we get a rock/ground mascot legendary
>>58189106You could count Ogerpon if going main DLC legends. Terapogos could've been Rock
>>58189121>created by a bug autistAnd he still doesn't feel the need to do anything special for the type. Imagine how bad this series would be if a dragon or firefag created it.
>>58189097Bug is too weak and Poison is too villainous
I've been expecting a bug box legendary since gen 4it'll happen eventually
>>58189155The grim reaper and Satan aren't villainous?
>>58189097Legendary snakemon that sets Acid Rain upon entry which gives a 50% power bonus to Poison type attacks and makes them super effective against Water, Ground and Steel types when!?
>>58190211instead of acid rain, make it a noxious cloud. To even challenge the pokemon to catch it in-game you need to wear a hazmat suit.
>>58189102Anon poison and bug are EASILY the most autistic types alongside fairynormalfag types would be fire electric and water
>>58190271>fire>THE tryhard edgy cool kid type alongside Dragon>normie
>>58190296>>THE tryhard edgy cool kid [anything]>>normieYes????
>>58190296oh yeah Dragon is another ultra-normie type I forgot
>>58190271Fairy is a normalfag type. It’s literally designed for mass appeal (Pokemon has been a cutesy franchise since Gen 2) and to have powerful matchups.
>>58189097I like Grass, Bug and Poison type
They didn't make a bad poison type design until garbodor (which I personally even don't mind but whatever) and until gen 8 with stuff like eternatus and toxel, and gen 9 with stuff like varoom, iron moth, okidogi, and munkidori. Even then shroodle and grafaiai are some of my favorite designs so poison is still the single best type aesthetically imo. I've thought this ever since I first started playing the games.
>>58189097What is the mascot for Normal type, if mascots of DLC do not count?
>>58189106The box cover of Calyrex is without steed, so Grass/Psychic type.
>>58189169the grim reaper isn't, satan is
>>58189097It's understandable you don't count Calyrex since it's dlc and not base game.
>>58190733solgaleo, fire/normal.
>>58189097Sorry kiddo, but Fairy needed 2 box legendaries both of which were insanely busted for their time and even today. We can't have some mystical forest god using plant magic be a box legendary, or some giant rock god, or any of that crap.Hopefully Gen 10 introduces the 3rd Fairy box art legendary and its just a giant goldfish and is pure Fairy too.
>>58190733Arceus>captcha: ARS8W
Grass and poison could easily receive one, maybe if we get a generation about fixing nature's ruined by pollution and one legendary is grass/fairy and the other is poison/steel. Bug and rock seems fudged though, rock missed it's chance with groudon and Bug lol
>>58191091>and one legendary is grass/fairy and the other is poison/steel.seems strange to make the pollution one have such an advantage>Bug and rock seems fudged though, rock missed it's chance with groudon and Bug lolrock could easily do for a fossil mon legendary, and bug should have been the swarm rep. Imagine if zygarde was bug-type. Wait that's so stupid, them making fairy resist bug was already dumb but why WAS zygarde dragon anyway, making it weak to xerneas? If bug hit fairy SE and it was bug/ground it would have been an effectively new type combo (nincada lmao) and had an advantage (well sorta) on both box legendaries. And it would have been a swarm. Gamefreak is so dumb.
>>58191091>Bug and rock seems fudged thoughbug = Arachnerock = MedusaI'll take my check in the mail
>>58191015
>>58189097It's missing.
>>58191101>seems strange to make the pollution one have such an advantageEh, probably only grass then. But we always had imbalanced legendaries, eg xerneas vs yveltal.
>>58191203No they are not.
>>58191223those are zekrom and reshiram retard
>>58191229Fake fan
>>58189097Gen 11 (or 12) will be inspired by Brazil and will have ecologic themes once again. The box legendaries are pretty much decided. One good and the other evil. The good guy will be Dragon/Grass and the evil one will be Fairy/Poison.Also, they will have a Gen 8 remake/expansion one day with Eternatus being the cover legendary. This is actual information I know. Gen 10 they are keeping a secret, gen 11 is probably Brazil (focus on Rio, Sao Paulo and the Amazon Forest), gen 12 is probably Germany (with a bit of Switzerland and Netherlands according to what I saw).
>>58191219it honestly would be fine if they had an ability that turned things on its head somewhat, like their ability made them specifically target the other types. Wouldn't be crazy considering what box legendaries can do now. Something like:>[nature legendary ability]: The Pokemon is immune to the first Steel and Poison move used against it in battle.and give it an ability that lets it refresh its ability, probably its signature move. 2 immunities wouldn't even be that crazy (on top of dragon).>[pollution legendary ability]: If the Pokemon uses a move that the opponent is immune to, increase Attack and Special Attack [or whatever]so that it's a dangerous game fighting the two, where the nature mon would want to keep using the grass or fairy move in order to keep its immunities but that powers up the pollution mon making it even more dangerous. Which kind of matches how pollution works in real life, so, I dunno I'm kind of convincing myself of it, honestly. It seems like fun.
>>58191235>implying the black dragon and the white dragon legendaries from that gen aren't the black dragon and the white dragon legendaries from that gen: the sequel
>>58191229True fan
>>58189097As a big fan of bugs, I regret to inform you that there will always be a very scarce amount of bug and/or poison-type legendaries. Pokémon is designed to be a franchise intended to be as profitable as possible, and the vast majority of the world find bugs and venomous creatures to be terrifying on a pathological level. A lot of franchises in general try to minimize the amount of bugs and snakes utilized because sensitivity training usually involves learning to be conscious of common phobias, with bugs, snakes and spiders being at the top of that.Fun Fact: Not a single bug-type Pokémon that even vaguely resembles an arachnid has 8 limbs. The only bug-types that have 8 limbs are Venipede and Crustle.
>>58191812I don't think that'll stop japan from making a kamen rider legendary in gen 12 or whatever
>>58189097Their time will come
>>58190271>alongside fairy
>>58189097nobody cares about these types
>>58193901This
>>58190892Is there a single legendary uglier than this thing?
>>58193938Yo momma's butt
Because pokémon is stale and creatively bankrupt and afraid to take any amount of risk
Making bug bad is actually shit game design and no you cannot justify it with your corporate cocksucking
>>58193983>Scizor>Heracross
>>58194012No legendary Got a completely uncalled for extra weaknesses when Fairy was released Isn't the best at countering anything meaningful Being double effective against grass dark, dark psychic, and psychic grass is meaningless because there are like only 2 good mons in all those dual types.
>>58194055Also highest number of weaknesses, including many of the best types.
>>58194058Resistances*
>>58194055>fairy>tera steel choice band bullet punchadios
>>58194055Galvantula kicks assScizor and Heracross as previously mentionedVolcaronaMega BeedrillGenesectShuckle
>>58194058i'm surprised there really aren't that many defensive bug types. resistances to both EQ and CC are nothing to scoff at though flying also does that
>>58193901I care
>>58194151stealth rock was what made that uninteresting to approach for several gens, though volcarona always used its bulk to swap into the then-overtuned fighting types at the time. Now with heavy duty boots it might be more viable. Also there was forretress in gens 2 and 3.
>>58194151>>58194242also if I were to want one made, it'd easily be an anthill. How have we not gotten a puny ant that evolves into a bug/ground anthill yet?
>>58189155>Bug is too weakYeah, I'm sure a Bug/Steel legendary would be too weak.
>>58194267>Slugma user Ember!
>>58194267>Sizzlipede uses Fire Spin!
>>58194270>the painfully slow and unevolved shitmon manages to land Ember on the legendary and kill it in one hitKek sure
>>58189097Would a bot fly legendary even work for the masses merch wise?
I think Rock or Grass could get one ventually, I think bug or poison could only work as a secondary typing.
>>58194548a pollution legendary is absolutely gonna happen soon
>>58189097Because those are shitty, weak, filler types.
