not as much of a fan of the donut steal abilities. Best option for each imo would be something based around IF they move first or second.
>mega escavalier
If it moves first, bonus damage. If it moves last, reduce incoming damage.
>mega accelgor
If it moves first, takes way less damage. If it moves last, take way more damage.
Something like that, maybe. Could twist around the accelgor version to be that it dodges if it moves first instead maybe, but that would be really annoying.
Maybe could keep "Jousting" for escavalier's ability name, but for Accelgor, why not "Ninja Arts"?
>>
>>58190360
oh whoops I meant accelgor's second half to be cause way more damage so that it was the exact opposite of escavalier's ability.
>esca
move first, bonus damage. Move last, bonus resist.
>accel
move first, bonus resist. Move last, bonus damage.
Though thinking about it now just giving accelgor an ability that makes every move a pivot move might also work.

In pretty much every language that I speak to some extent, like German, English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and French, the name translates directly to "Ice Scales", only the Japanese makes the distinction of calling it something akin to dust, which sure, has butterfly connotations, but so many Ice types make icy dust that realistically it could encompass more than just Frosmoth.

>>58194674
I hope they retrofit gigantamaxing to be more similar to regular mega evos. Maybe make Giga Evolutions that are just the gmax forms with appropriate abilities and whatever, maybe with a move swap if it makes sense, and otherwise is just a sidegrade and similar to mega evolving. They can still make them bigger than normal mons but not the stupid stadium-sized ones, that's dumb.

60 HP
50 ATK
40 DEF
140 SP ATK (+55)
95 SP DEF (+20)
120 SPD (+25)

The trade-off between the two different abilities is that while Plusle allows a single hit to deal much more damage, Minun can hit a second opponent if the first faints to the initial attack as well as being able to trigger secondary effects (status effects, stat boosts/reductions, flinching, etc) a second time.
>>
>>58194936
maybe you should think about why you're bad at making abilities instead of just smashing random words together. You wrote a dex entry with random stat add-ons. To be clear, an ability with different effects based on night or day isn't a bad idea, and especially the auto-remove hazards option is a good one, but I'd just stick with the latter; something like
Ability: Witchcraft: This Pokemon removes hazards and other obstructions from the field automatically.
And have it just always remove hazards and stuff like substitute on switch-in. That would be fully coherent imo.

>+80 Atk (puts it at 227)
>+20 Speed (puts it at 117)
(though I could see an argument for just doing +60 atk for 207 atk and +20 in both defenses to make a better bulky dd user)
>ability: either Steelworker (or a steel version of pixilate and aerilate) or sharpness (if haxorus gets enough slashing moves when it gets the mega, right now it only has a couple. Should really have a signature slashing dragon move and a slashing steel move at minimum to justify this thematic ability)

You do realize Mega Evolution never increases a Pokemon's base HP, right?

>>58201388
These seem similar to Mega-Gyarados stats. Was that intentional?
