That is the thing with Fighting type, compared to other Mons it REALLY relies on presentation and not just purely design because all Pokémon like fighting, the Ashnime did this fairly well in Gen 1 with Fighting Mons showing up in Boxing Leagues and shit like that that shows them fighting like, well fighters.Probably because actual Bullfighting isn't actually palatable to modern audience, just the romantic idea of them.

I'm wondering how they're going to explain Mega Barbaracle becoming a Fighting-type. It has a dozen arms so it's easy to explain how it fights but I'm still curious how that happens

I lived on a farm for most of mine and I can fucking tell you quite a few breeds are extremely aggressive and will attack almost anything on sight to try and either ram them or gore them with their horns, bulls can be and typically are very feisty animals, and often can be real bastards even if you raise them kindly since they were young calves.Earlier gens have more than a few Pokemon that are only Fighting types due to being strong and feisty, guess what bulls are dumbass.
