We have been robbed since gen 3.
Stop it, Castform... why are you looking at me like that...?
>>58193722Ewww what the fuck is that thing supposed to be?
robbed
they stole him from us
He deserved even more.
>make a pokemon>give it huge tatasWhat the fuck were they thinking?
>>58193753Those are her balls
>>58193753those are testicles
>>58193753>>58193759>>58194333Those are asscheeks
>>58193753Those are tumors
>>58193722no
What other weather effects could they make? Acid rain for poison, and fog for ghosts are the only two I could think of. So we can have a posion and ghost castform.
>>58193722small indie meteorologist, please understand
>>58194907>Meteor Shower: Boosts Sp. Atk and Sp. Def for Psychic, Dragon, and Fairy type Pokémon. Every turn there's a 15% chance of getting struck by a meteor fragment, which will be considered Fire or Rock type if the Meteor Shower was started by a mon of either of those types, or is occurring naturally. If the Meteor Shower was started by a Psychic, Dragon, or Fairy type, the Meteor Fragment will be considered one of those types. The Fragment will not damage Pokémon who share a type with the Fragment. Some moves secretly affect the Meteor Fragment rate, though this is kept secret.>Nuptial Flight: Bugs swarm through the air, boosting the power of Bug-Type moves and biting non-bug type pokemon. Accuracy is reduced for non-bug type pokemon (does not affect contact moves). Power of Draining moves greatly increases.>Smog: Boosts Speed and Sp. Atk for Poison types, reduces evasion of non-poison types. All attacks gain a 10% chance of poisoning and do more damage if poisoned. Each turn, there's a 5% chance of getting poisoned. Any HP restoration used by non poison types is halved.>Heavy Pollen: Each turn, Grass types heal 20% of damage taken, Bug and Fairy types heal 5% of damage taken. Reduces the accuracy of non-Grass and Bug types. >Haunted: Any time a Pokémon restores HP, every other Pokémon on the field is also healed by 66% of the amount restored. For Ghost types, it's 100% of the amount restored. Any Special-Damage inflicted on any pokemon causes all non Ghost-types on the field to also take damage, equal to 33% of the initial damage dealt. Physical moves have a 35% chance to get their damage cut in half, and PP drains twice as quickly. Under 25% of max HP, a non ghost-type pokemon will gain the Ghost Type and be healed to 50% of max HP, whereas a ghost-type would gain a 1-stage boost to each of their stats.
if they HAD made a rock-type castform form for sandstorm I bet it would have been OU in gen 3.>>58194907don't even need to, they added terrains which are basically new weather anyway. Plus since they can coexist with weather we could get a ton of new forms for a hypothetical castform evo. 90 base everything (making bst:540, mind you) and it can be any combination of:>Water>Fire>Ice>Rockfor weather as the weather type and>Electric>Grass>Fairy>Psychicfor the terrain type, making 1 base form, 4 pure weather forms, 4 pure terrain types, and 16 combination types, making for 25 total forms. Which would be kino. Oh I guess you could add a Flying form for Delta Stream if you wanted, but I think that would be too niche.
>>58195767>if they HAD made a rock-type castform form for sandstorm I bet it would have been OU in gen 3.You're fucking retarded. Castform has always been a PU shitter and giving it a type change wouldn't have helped it out a bit.
>>58194907A weather for each type, not including types that already get major benefits from existing weathers Grass + Fire for Sun, Rock + Steel + Ground for Sand, Water + Electric + Flying for Rain, Ice for Hail/Snow:>Acid RainReduces health restored by all healing on non-Poison Pokemon by half, strips Steel type mons of Poison immunity. >Blood MoonReduces evasion of non-Ghost and non-Dark mons by one stage, harmful secondary effects of moves are more likely against non-Ghost and non-Dark mons. Ghost-type Curse takes only 25% of the user's HP to use.>FogBug types have slightly increased speed, reduces the odds of harmful secondary effects of moves used by non-Bug and non-Fairy Pokemon. U-Turn always misses unless used by a Bug-type.>MonsoonNon-grounded mons are grounded, Fighting types take reduced damage from SE moves. Draco Meteor and Focus Blast never misses.>PhenomenaPsychic damage is increased, physical damage (except from Psychic attacks) slightly decreased. Future Sight deals half damage to Dark types and half damage through Protect under this weather.>Diamond DustNormal damage is increased, special damage (except from Normal attacks) slightly decreased. Hyper Beam and Giga Impact skip their recharge turn if used to KO a Pokemon under this weather.
>>58195767>if they HAD made a rock-type castform form for sandstorm I bet it would have been OU in gen 3.lmao fuck no. Even if this is a lame joke about sandstorm basically being permanent in OU, a Rock type with base 70 across the board is not an appealing prospect, even with a 100 BP STAB Rock move to spam.
>>58195781>>58195804even though flying is probably the single best type in the game in gen 3but for what it's worth I forgot sandstorm didn't increase rock-type's spdef in gen 3, that was part of why I thought it
>>58195791>Hyper Beam and Giga Impact skip their recharge turn if used to KO a Pokemon under this weather.I don't actually like most of your ideas but bringing back Gen 1 hyper beam rules as a "Normal" weather/whatever is kino. I would personally make it a terrain though because then you could give some extra buff too, maybe something like no stat changes or increased crit rate based on speed, halving the damage of fighting-type moves (a big one imo), stuff like that.
>>58195820>even though flying is probably the single best type in the game in gen 3Sure, but if you want a rock type to beat them you'd just use TTar or Rhydon/Regirock if you're really that afraid of hidden power fighting/brick break. The one thing Rock Castform would have over Regirock specifically is that Rock Weather Ball one shots it while Regi Rock Slide will not kill your typical Sala set from full. That's assuming of course Sala didn't Intimidate your Castform. It MIGHT have a niche, but it wouldn't be OU by usage.
>>58195909>intimidateweather ball is special you fucking idiot
>>58196017Anon, you already forgot about the rock-type sp def boost in sand not being in Gen 3, maybe take 5 seconds to actually think about what you're typing before you say any more retarded things. Especially regarding any major game defining changes that people regularly discuss which may or may not have occurred between Generations 3 and 4. A change which would, hypothetically, be very foolish to forget about.
>>58196115Anon...
>>58196123>Because damage category depends on the type of the move in Generation III, Weather Ball's category depends on its type. Unlike Hidden Power where Counter always activates while Mirror Coat never does, Weather Ball will activate Mirror Coat if it is a special move. Now stop being a retard, pretend or not.
>>58196092oh he's not me, he's just baiting you.
>>58195909lmao the other guy got deletedyeah it probably wouldn't have actually been ou after I realized don't worry, though I do think it would have been fun having that niche you described too, just because really niche mons can still be useful in gen 3. I think it's definitely a shame it didn't get the sandstorm form regardless of my overestimation of it.
>>58193722Fixed
>>58197117What happens if both Terrain and Weather are in effect, though?
>>58197387Bottom is obviously a regional variant
>>58197393... Right, yeah, didn't realize.
>>58193753That's his chin.
