furry starters print money for them and everyone knows it, so there's bound to be at least one in gen 10. personally, i'm alright with it as long as we keep getting decent-to-good non-furry starters like skeledirge

They seem to do at least one each generation, and Ground-type seems to have avoided a lot of such designs, so maybe you're right
