>>58198741>nooo my berries and snorunt!!!It's not that big a deal
>>58198741you can put the battery back in if you buy one and the little screwdriver online, they’re both pretty cheapthat being said I spent most of my life with a dry copy of Emerald and it doesn’t make you unable to enjoy the game, just a few things like berry growing won’t work, maybe other games are impacted more in which case, I’d def replace that battery
>>58198741Just turn the "activate clock" option in your emulator. I think is on the "settings" tab.
>>58198741semi-related but for the console itself, my 3DS battery is finally going. Took it out before it swells more and damages the console, what's the ideal replacement now that Nintendo doesn't offer them anymore?
>>58199100You can buy third party replacements pretty easily. None will be as good as OEM, but if you can get an XYAB one those are alright.
if you're on cart you can replace the battery easilyif you're on emulator (since these are clearly screenshots and not photographs) just enable time-based events again
Gen 3 was such a step back for the clock and time based events after Gen 2.
>>58199290i agree with you in principle but i don't miss booting up my cartridge and finding out the battery died and took my save file with it desu
>>58199303> took my save file with it that's unrelated to the battery though
>>58199315only in gen 3in 1 and 2 you were boned once the battery went kaput
>>58199329Ah sorry I misread your post.
