I really liked when each elite 4 member had their own room to battle in. Now everything is in a soulless boring corporate office. Bleh
>>58203155It was actually pretty cool, but also kinda sad that they wasted this on the worst Elite 4 in the series.
>>58203155Yeah, that was the point. Did you not listen to how much everyone hates Geeta?
>>58203155>Kalos Soulless garbage
I miss when the E4 were a JRPG boss guild, not the fucking Board of Education.
I miss Victory Road
>>58203155Small indie company, don't complain.
>>58203155if you hadn't shat on Masuda's magnum opus, the Elite 4 could have keep their rooms, but nooooo, you couldn't go ONE (UNO) game without our precious CHARIZARD and threw a tantrum.
>>58204138This was the Charizard game, Anon
>>58203155>WAAAAH GAME FREAK NEEDS TO STOP MINDLESSLY COPYING KANTO AND GIVE EACH REGIOIN ITS OWN IDENTITY>WAIT NO NOT LIKE THAT!!!!
>>58203168One time I started dicking around during the E4 until the water guys Gyarados DDance setup enough to wipe my team. Worst E4 is a subjective category, but Kalos doesn't take it.Worst champion, maybe, but Lance and Steven were kinda dogshit.
>>58203155The Elite 4 isn't supposed to be the climax of SV. Area Zero is. You may as well bitch that every other game doesn't have an Area Zero equivalent.
>>58204204Lance is a conceptually weird idea to make a Champion because he was already usurped in the previous game. It's almost kind of mundane and realistic to have him retain his role while the two kids fucked off to do their own thingSteven is a great Champion it's just he comes from a pretty dogshit region so he kind of reflects the worst traits it has. His team could only be so good being a "type specialist" even though it's obvious he's more of a mineral fan than just a Steel specialist. It's also one of the toughest fights I've had in recent memory because I didn't grind to take him down so it was actually pretty fun being nearly wiped out with my level 40s and just barely edging a win. No later game would ever give me that type of thrillMost of their issues stem from early installment struggles though, I can forgive both of them for effectively setting the standard of what a real Champion should be like after the thematic parallel from Gen I. Diantha has no damn excuse, she was following like 7 Champions at that point
>>58204282I remember the two endings I had the hardest time with was being underleveled against Gary on Leaf Green specifically, followed by completing Collosseum's final boss catching the shadow TTar without killing it.
