Probably depends on the Mon and how much the buyer wants said mon from 2016 (don't think there were any unique forms or anything back then).

Yeah, when trading Pokémon from 2016-2019, it's guaranteed that the trade will be "lucky", thus giving each player Lucky mons (which have rerolled IVs so that the floor is 12/12/12, sparkly background and less stardust needed to level them up). Getting a lucky Mon is pretty sweet, but you usually wanna get good (more recent) Pokémon, and when you are the one giving the 2016 mon, the other trainer is gonna have to be the one giving you the (possibly) good mon (so that's not really a selling point). Also, just so that you know, you get 35 guaranteed lucky trades with mons from 2016-2019, after that it's luck (heh) based like normal.
I'd say it's good that you have those mons but it'll prolly be pretty difficult to find a buyer.

Is there a proper guide for how lucky trades work anywhere that isn't a mess of old posts on reddit? I'm trying to finish the level up challenge and I'm at 21 via the guaranteed lucky trade with older pokemon thing with another account. Can you only do 35 lucky lifetime trades per one account? And you can only do 15 lucky trades a day right?

No. The lucky trades exist solely to help the returning player get some good shit fast. You get 35, guaranteed lucky trades like the other anon said, so you can get some shiny legendaries and the guy you're trading gets a Pidgey or maybe even a Bulbasaur

There's something called"guaranteed lucky trades". This happens when you trade a Pokémon from 2016-2019 (will maybe be expanded to 2020 but who knows). You can only do 35 guaranteed lucky trades, period. A lucky trade counts for both players, the sender (who traded the 2016-2019 mon) and the receiver (who traded whatever other Pokémon). There is no in-game indication of this so, if you have traded mons back in the day, it's quite likely you have already used some of your guaranteed lucky trades.

Noob here. There is a kanto event that lets the starter pokemon learn a special move when fully evolved. Can someone please tell me which one of these i should fully evolve and maybe invest into? Do the dmax for all three, I don’t think most of the kanto starters are particularly amazing in pvp. If you like em use them, and with the special moves they all do have decent uses. Also unless you removed frustration from that shadow it won’t learn any new move on evolution, rocket take over events are the only times that can happen. Though I wouldn’t invest to much into the chars you have right now, mega y can hit 5k at max but only if it’s at least 96%

Don't worry anon, happens to everyone. Once you get into raids you'll see that everything you get gets better. Now regarding your mons:

None of the Kanto starters are particularly good. Blastoise is the best one of the 3, only in the Ultra league, and that'd require heavy investment (maxing it out to level 50). Plus, you want to have low attack, high defense, high hp for PvP, so none of your current mons fit the mold. If you do care about PvP, don't worry, there are pretty good mons that require less investment, plus you could try tanking (which is getting to GBL rank 20 and farming stardust and goodies for little to no investment); if you have any questions about it, lmk, been helping some anons with tanking in the recent threads.
>Raids
You 100% want the mons with the highest IVs (though at your level whatever you get should suffice, like if you have lower IV mons with high CP). In the case of your mons, the CP 547 Dmax Charmander, CP 41 Squirtle and CP 625 Dmax Bulbasaur are the best options. HOWEVER, I'd go with the CP 526 Dmax Squirtle as it's also gonna be useful in Max battles. So in summary, pick all 3 Dmax starters because they will be useful in Max raids and normal raids

While the evolved Kanto starters aren't the best, they are 100% better than Wooloos or Skwovets, and are a great starting point for players who are starting with Max battles. Like I said before, I'd evolve the 3 Dmax Kanto starters so that you get good coverage.

Finally came got the heart thing down yesterday. Frankly, I'm happy to be done with it. Wish it could've been done sooner, but Johto mon spawns were horrible a lot of the time. The infinite Marills that came before the big fish event really helped me get those last 50 catches. Of course, now there's even worse things to deal with. I thought it was going to be like catching 3 or 4 Kecleon. This could legit take a fucking year, depending on luck.
