The biggest problem with both ORAS and DP is that they're remakes of the base games and not Emerald/Platinum. It's less egregious with ORAS because RS has better story pacing than Emerald which needed like several filler moments for whatever reason and while Emerald has the Battle Frontier, most of its content isn't really fun because it's specifically grinding to get to the real content (a plague on most battle facilities really). A Battle Frontier that lets you actually fight the Frontier Brains without trying to flank you with their unfun gimmicks would definitely have been preferableBDSP have no excuse other than Masuda is a hack fraud that can't let go of his past
