>>58210058Nintendo wanted to attract a more "mature" audience with the Switch 2 and make it appear more "premium" hence the emphasis on black. We probably won't see a Switch 2 with a little more color and some designs on it until the first mainline 3D Mario or 3D Zelda. Gen 10 will almost certainly get one too, or maybe Nintendo will release a special edition Switch 2 to commemorate Pokemon's 30th next year. Once console sales start to slow for Nintendo, that's when the company will start trying to get consumers to double-dip on limited edition consoles.
