Alright, was it fossil with intact DNA (like how sometimes mammoth remains have DNA intact and are commonly referred to as fossil, despite not undergoing the fossilization process proper. or was it just regular old bio matter.
i thought it was an eyelash

Y’mean the poor cat was impregnated by scientists with a bunch of DNA?

>>58211224Nowadays pretty much all media has aligned with the first movie's interpretation that an eyelash was used and Mewtwo was created in one of those magical sci-fi tubes. In RBY/FRLG it seems to have either been naturally born (since this was before eggs were introduced so a Pokemon actually being pregnant is a possibility at that point) or may have been created through the real life process of cloning which was a big thing in the scientific scene at the time with the first successful clone being produced in the late 50's and Dolly the Sheep being born in '96.Mewtwo could have hypothetically been created through Nuclear transfer which is how other clones were made around that time.
