I recently replayed LeafGreen on my original DS and beat the game with a shiny electrode on my team. I really like gen 3’s sprites so having a shiny in a gen 3 game is really cool to me.

Haven't beaten the game yet (4 badges) but these here are my boys. Maybe looking at Phanpy or Rhyhorn to fill the sixth slot. Gonna swap a few team members out in Kanto once I get there, as I usually do in G/S. Chinchou has been wreaking havoc in Johto if you couldn't tell by its moveset.

>>58221194Thunder is satisfying as hell, if not just for the power but also how it looks. It kept missing and caused me to lose to some Ace Trainers earlier but it's just the price you pay. As for Blizzard, I might end up subbing it for Ice Beam later. The move animation just isn't as fun to watch as gen 3's, and running both that and Thunder is a bit overkill kek.
bumping with what I thought would be a fun stomp through XD: Gale of Darkness with solo surskit, and then evolved into surskit + masquerain, but any trainer with a Raichu (I've run into 1 in Mt. Battle and one Cipher admin) has fucked me up beyond recognition
