I'm not really concerned about that, I've had good luck across various sites complaining about condition. I have never been out of pocket and regularly get refunds (including shipping) or 40-50% off if the condition doesn't match. If the card has a nice front then I'll be good. For reference this is the cheapest one on ebay right now at $180. I paid $120 for "LP" rather than Poor/HP so anything is a win, if the front is nice I'll keep it for my collection. If the front isn't nice enough for me to keep I'll resell for a small profit and if it's really bad then I'll refund or get 30-40% off (10% per grade) that it's under. I quite enjoy these gambles knowing the sites will have my back

I sold a card to ebay specifically listing it as damaged and clearly showing the signs of damage in pictures. The card gets bought and when it arrives buyer immediately asks for a refund because the card "is not near mint". It turns out, no matter what you do, if the product you're selling is in any way damaged, the buyer is automatically entitled for a refund or to keep the card. Shipping doesn't get refunded btw.
So I get the card back and 2 days later I see a listing with my same pictures, very obviously a scam seller. I report it to ebay as fake because that is literally my card and they reply that they found no issue with it. Absolute dogshit site genuinely worse quality control than the fucking flea market

There's a few things i'll never understand about Japanese collectors. Most aren't Japanese, can't read Japanese, and have zero ties to Japanese whats so ever. They'll say things like the cards are a higher quality and its the country of origin so its like the first edition of the card in their eyes. Giovanni being smug is good but the proportions and angle of Mewtwo himself just look all wrong, ugly as sin and Mewtwo doesn't lack for amazing cards. Personally I love this one but Mewtube is amazing too.
