Just deactivate its safety protocols, and you're free to go.
>>58224001>shrinkBe careful with the use of the word shrink anon. You might make people think you believe the head canon that Pokémon literally physically uniformly have their bodies shrink when going in their ball. After all, with proper media literacy skills, the conclusion of what Pokémon experience when going inside their ball and the process the Pokémon undergoes upon doing so, is that those things would be more nuanced than that.

The real interesting thing is the existence of item balls. It was an abstraction back in gen 1 and 2, reusing the Pokeball sprite for items in the overworld (which also allowed the Voltorb mimic to work), but as the series became more defined and items started getting their own sprites items in the overworld still continued to use Pokeball sprites. BW even continued the tradition with Foongus and Amoongus, so now item balls have been written into the Pokemon world as official. So other abstractions like the player holding an entire storage facility of items, including large things like a picnic table and a bicycle are explained by these items being contained in item balls. Technology is truly incredible.

>>58225583Right, because seething into other unrelated threads is a sure sign of winning an argument here
>>58225637You didn't come close to winning the argument. And you're the one trying to push the literal shrinking head canon at any opportunity you get.Anyway. With that out of the way. On to OP's question.>>58223991No. The Master Ball wouldn't function on a human. The Master Ball, as with all types of Poké Balls, only function when used for Pokémon, most likely at least partially because their intended use case is only for Pokémon. An important thing to note is that Pokémon and humans are a separate thing in Pokémon, humans are not just another species of Pokémon. Humans lack several aspects that are accounted for across all species of Pokémon. But, you're question does have some merit in asking. As in how exactly this distinction is the case, especially in regards the balls use on a human. Perhaps it may be possible illegally modify one or make illegally make one, such that it can be used on human. They'd also of course have to make it so the human can't exit at will like all regular types of balls allow the contained Pokémon to do. So it wouldn't too out of the realm of possibility. There is stuff like teleportation in the series. But at that point it would really just be a lot of effort, I'm sure most criminals would instead just kidnap someone which they can more than easily do with their own Pokémon. Than trying to make some new type of variant of a ball for humans.

Has the shrinking thing been mentioned anywhere other than early series blurbs, PLA, and anime gags?
