Heh, nothing personal.

Always bothered me that the rock/grounds are weak to ground, when most of them dig or drill through the Earth. I guess because earthquakes can crack rocks? That doesn't explain the ground/steels though.
>>

>dex says it doesn't even care if people climb on it and use it as a trampoline
>player can't just climb over it and has to wake it up
>>
>>58232996
What if it you tickled it and it instinctively rolled over and then you were smashed, so your pokemon voluntarily escape from their pokeballs to try and free you but no one on your team was capable of it so you eventually get crushed to death, and then snorlax gets arrested for manslaughter, but the local officer jenny's jail isn't big enough to contain snorlax so she becomes a stripper to try and raise money to build a bigger jail
>>
>>58233022
I don’t think the snorlax would get arrested
>>

>Tempered underground under high pressure and heat, its body is harder than any metal.
It would be great if Steelix dropped Rock Head for something like Thermal Exchange, but I think I'd rather give it Earth Eater.
>It is thought its body transformed as a result of iron accumulating internally from swallowing soil.
>The iron it ingested with the soil it swallowed transformed its body and made it harder than diamonds.

Durant's entry of adapting a metal exoskeleton to survive Heatmor makes no sense wither.

Give some Steelix the ability Heatproof as an HA, at this point there's no reason why Pokemon can't have different HAs, it could even be a trait depending on the region of origin.

In fact, many inconsistencies could be resolved with HA, such as Vikavolt's speed or Machamp's punches.

Imagine hating a giant steel snake.
>>
>dex keeps saying gigalith can shoot absolutely devastating energy blasts
>only special moves it learns by leveling up are power gem and mud slap
>special attack is only 60 and attack is 135
I love Gigalith’s design, and it would’ve been so cool if it were a special attacking Rock-type, since that’s so unique. But they made it yet another slow bulky physical attacking Rock-type, as if we don’t have enough already.

>It zips around, on sharp lookout for an opening. It concentrates electrical energy within its large jaws and uses it to zap its enemies.
>Vikavolt flusters opponents with acrobatic flying maneuvers. This creates an opening for it to deliver an electric beam attack.
>Displaying exceptional mobility, it weaves between trees and shoots down bird Pokémon with its electromagnetic beams.

Heat resistant =/= resistant to fire type energy
>>
>>58234571
it’s was cursed with being unova golem clone. If he had came during gen 4 or 6 it would have been a special attacker
>>
>>58234571
It has multiple Dex entries clearly describing Solar Beam (which it can only learn by TM), but also one saying that fissures develop in its body when it fires off its full power.

+30 SpAtk and Solar Power would be enough to get the idea across, and wouldn't be too crazy as a retcon compared to what's been done before. Maybe Steel Beam?
>>
>>58234900
I always thought that was lame. I imagine the idea was that the low speed represents the extra weight of the Charjabug it's carrying around for more power.
>If it carries a Charjabug to use as a spare battery, a flying Vikavolt can rapidly fire high-powered beams of electricity.
But of course, it doesn't actually carry any Charjabug ingame.
>>
>>58233189
Teach it thief and use black hole eclipse
>>
>>58234933
If it had been introduced in the next games, it might have had something like Kramorant or Dondozo's/Tatsugiri's abilities, where it scoops up a Charjabug for extra damage Zap Cannons
>>
>>58232943
Durant as a concept
>Pokedex: They attack in groups, covering themselves in steel armor to protect themselves from Heatmor.
>therefore giving it an extra weakness to fire
>does not get Heatproof or anything to make it resist Fire
>>
>>58234571
>>58234923
Give it a signature Special move that uses its physical Attack stat instead for damage calculation
>>
>>58233618
No? The last move it learns is Agility. It's a Gradius reference so it has to power up first.
