I prepared to pivot with U-turn, but the strike finished Malamar before the switch happened. That brought me to Falinks against Piers’s ace, Obstagoon. Falinks powered up with No Retreat, then stacked Iron Defenses and fired off multiple Reversals, eventually toppling Obstagoon, though not in a single hit as I’d hoped. Piers’s final Pokémon, Skuntank, was handled by Sandaconda—its Dig combined with a raging Sandstorm brought it down, sealing the win.From there, I traveled to Hammerlocke to face Raihan, the final Gym Leader. His specialty was a double battle, opening with Flygon and Gigalith. I led with Falinks and Corviknight—Falinks chipped at Gigalith but took heavy damage, while Corviknight used Brave Bird to bring down Flygon. When Raihan sent out his Sandaconda, both of my Pokémon were weakened, so I swapped them for Inteleon and my own Sandaconda. Together, they turned the tide—Sandaconda buried Gigalith with Dig, while Inteleon sniped down Sandaconda with Snipe Shot. Finally, Raihan unleashed his ace, Duraludon, Dynamaxing it to tower over the battlefield. I responded by Dynamaxing Sandaconda, who powered through with repeated Max Quakes, toppling the steel giant and ending the match.With Raihan defeated, I claimed my eighth badge. The Gym Challenge complete, I set off for Wyndon, the grand stage of Galar’s Pokémon League, catching a Duraludon along the way to add a powerhouse to my roster.

Though tough, she fell in battle, and I finally reached Rose and Leon. Rose explained his fear of an impending energy crisis threatening Galar’s future, but his methods were troubling. Their meeting ended abruptly, leaving me uneasy as I returned to prepare for the next round of the tournament.The finals saw me battling the Gym Leaders themselves. I defeated Nessa, Bea, Raihan, and even Bede—who insisted on joining the competition despite no longer being an official challenger. One by one, they fell, clearing my path to Leon. But just as the climactic match was about to begin, Chairman Rose hijacked the screens, announcing that he had summoned the Darkest Day in a desperate attempt to address Galar’s future energy problem.Determined to stop this disaster, I headed deep into the Slumbering Weald, the mystical forest where legend said two great Pokémon once quelled the Darkest Day. Along the way, I caught a Blipbug before uncovering the resting place of the ancient sword and shield. With these relics in hand, I prepared to call upon the legends themselves to stop Rose’s reckless plan.
