The beginning of the end, last starter trio I actually liked any members from. At least Kalos had both Greninja and Delphox who were neat, and I like Unova’s all equally (even if I like them less than previous trios). Alola only has Decidueye that I don’t dislike, and Galar + Paldea have nothing but dogshit

I have never seen a more successful design than Incineroar. Not aesthetically, even though I like him, but the fact that he's the Heel Pokemon and everyone hates him. Even in my Smash days nobody liked him, it was insane

Primarina is my least favorite but it's not bad either.Unfortunately this trio is far from my favorite since there is only one starter here that I truly love (Incineroar). Meanwhile there are other trios that I love much more, especially Gen 3, but most other gens have at least two starters that I love.I would rank this trio over Gen 5 and Gen 8. I don't hate these but these two gens are the ones that feel the most uninteresting to me. Also maybe Gen 9 (I love Skeledirge and Meowscarada is decent but I just hate the duck).

incineroar is possibly the most deserving shillmon of all time
Good trio. I usually go with Incineroar, but sometimes Decidueye. I almost never go with the Fire-type in other games. Decidueye meets most of my preferences by being a spooky forest creature....but Incineroar is a wrestler and I fucking love pro wrestling. The only thing I don't like about Incineroar are how thin its wrists are. I get it though, its hands are huge and they pop out because of it. So its not a flaw just a personal nitpick. Never used Primarina and probably never will but I'm glad it exists because I imagine some people have wanted a pretty mermaid Pokemon for ages. Probably the same kind of person who always wanted a dolphin Pokemon and went nuts over galarian rapidash.
