It's probably some low rank, just to get people to engage in a few ranked games per season for a mode that would otherwise be totally ignored. They're still going to have to give you other ways to get them in Champions, and maybe gen10 if megas are somehow in that.
Schedule for ranked battles, order they are distributed is Greninja > Delphox > Chesnaught
