Yes i know ditto is more marketable. i don't care. learning moves form other pokemon is smeargle's whole fucking gimmick. and honestly the human ditto kind of unnerves me so a smeargle protag would have been cuter too. you can't even tell me they have to make the protag appear human. not when the pokemon mystery dungeon series exists.

A good compromise could be a secondary avatar option where you can change your avatar's look to be a bit more Smeargle-like (or heck, Mew-like!), as a bit of a nod to how Smeargle learned Transform by Sketching either Ditto or Mew and Mew's thing is ALSO learning all the moves.Yes, I know, but what are you going to use Crabhammer on?
