>Koei Tecmo is developing the new life sim spinoffI wish we got a sequel to this instead.
A sequel to this game would be awesome! ...Though, I'm not really sure what they'd even do for it?Pokopia looks pretty fun, too.
>>58245422>I'm not really sure what they'd even do for it?Having 2 attacks per pokemon would improve the game a lot. Too many mons like Crobat or Quagsire were useless most of the time because of their lack of coverage
>>58245242Pokemon Conquest 2: Three Kingdoms boogaloo when
>>58245242>>58245732Nobunaga's Ambition's last game was in 2022.Pokémon Conquest was just the English title for a crossover game that was lucky to leave Japan
>>58245422Not saying it has to be Pokemon: Fire Emblem, but a squad going on some adventure with the grid-based combat sounds like a win to me.
>>58247089It was more of a Samurai Warriors crossover than a Nobu's Ambition one going by the character designs.
>>58245242Conquest isn't fun. Cool premise but the gameplay is a very tedious loop repeated with basically no depth whatsoever. It's not a good game and there's a reason it's dead and buried.
>>58245724That's a fair point.>>58247432That also sounds like it could be fun.
nene
>>58248105All the better reason to improve upon it with a sequel, then
>>58250477Or leave it alone because it fucking sucks and won't get better anyway. In case you haven't noticed, pokemon is only getting worse every year.
>anons don't like maintaining a spreadsheet of every trainer under your control and their missing links to check the whole map every turn for the rare spawns you needIt's like you guys aren't even autistic or something, fighting is by far the least interesting part of those games
>>58250996It's like they don't even like tactical rpgs.
>>58251007Yeah, my favorite part of most TRPG is, and I say that without a hint of irony, the gameFAQS guide and the three excel/notepad pages I constantly have to cycle through
>>58250996Didn't their available pokemon get reset every subcampaign?I vaguely remember hunting down optimal links on the main campaign and then loading into one of the bonus campaigns only to discover they didn't have the pokemon I tediously hunted down.Although that might have been because I was using a romhack.
>>58251020Nah, their affection is reset but the mons you caught with a trainer remain with them every campain, including evolutions, even though they'll still use the default ones when you face them in combat
>>58245242The concept was very cool but gameplay wise the main game was piss easy while the post game was just tedious
>>58251007The map portion of the game is srpg, not trpg
>>58251070Correction appreciated. Doesn't change what I said, though.
>>58251016Don't remind me of some of the FE games and the extremely convoluted recruitment methods that the games tell you nothing about.
>>58245242Everyone who glazes this game has never fucking played it, or at least never played beyond the main story. Cool premise and aesthetic but the gameplay is easy as fuck, it has the depth of a puddle, the map design is mostly dogshit (which is particularly bad with how often you have to replay maps) and if you play the “postgame” (this is basically the actual game because the main story is more or less an extended tutorial) get ready to enjoy 100+ hours of absolutely braindead tedious grinding
