I prefer the beta version, just because I think the sausage fingers look really dumb. I also think the design was just overall a lot cooler; if they'd just kept the pale belly from the original and maybe colored in the arm thrusters (like they did in the final), I truly think it would've been a perfect balance of current-day Mega Swampert's bulk and original Swampert's sleeker appeal.
