ok ive been working on this game. it was originally planned for switch 1, but later delayed to the switch 2. development actually started around early 2019, right after the release of lets go
Its original name was my new pokemon ranch, a totally different game from what you’ve seen, following the idea of interacting with your boxed pokemon

It was supposed to be announced with home’s release and the original developer was ilca, but the studio was later changed for unknown reasons

all the info I have is from mid-2021 until now, that’s when the developer switch happened, my new pokemon ranch was cancelled, and the whole project had to be restarted from scratch

> ALL Pokémon are planned to be included through free yearly updates, the game will launch with 600

- you can connect with home and invite your own pokemon to live with you, but it’s limited since you can only have 10 houses on your island, they can still visit tho

- connecting also unlocks special stuff, transferring from the za game gives you an eiffel lumiose miniature. johto transfers unlock two towers. not sure about scarlet and violet, but I remember you get a green mask (wearable) and the sagrada familia school miniature
- if your island reaches a certain ranking, “famous” pokemon can visit during limited-time events. these are pokemon used by well-known characters, and they give you rare/ items. the first planned event is a garchomp that gives you exclusive winter clothes
> you can explore other islands, invite pokemon to yours, and enjoy complex friendship mechanics. time of day, weekday, and even month affect encounters. all natures are present and influence how each pokemon interacts with you
- legendary can’t live on your island. you’ll meet zapdos, moltres, and articuno early on. the island is set in a place called “where the winds of the world meet each other”

- dating mechanics were scrapped, but breeding is still in, and villagers can form families
