Now that we know regional forms will be transferable to PLZA through home, how do you think gamefreak will handle those that share mega evolutions?
>a) they'll make regional forms unable to mega evolve
>b) they'll make regional forms able to mega evolve into their normal mega evolution
>c) they'll take the hard route and actually design new mega evolution forms for each one

It’ll be A because most regional forms would be incompatible with their base form’s Mega.
A-Raichu becoming a regular Mega Raichu wouldn’t be that weird, but an A-Sandslash becoming a Ground-type Mega Sandslash wouldn’t make sense.

A really cool tidbit we found out in the leaks is that Alolan Raichu mutated due to consuming spices made from toxins gathered from Ultra Space, the Alolans use said mutagenic toxins to spice up their pancakes and due to Pikachu being attracted to the scent and taste of said spice, Pikachu there gained a fondness for pancakes. I find it funny that this almost feels like a deep cut Dune reference in a way.
That aside, there's no way in hell we're getting Mega Alolan Raichu, it would be incredibly based, but it's not happening.
