/vp/ - I'm not paying 6-700 dollars for the switch dos. - Pokémon

I stopped buying pokemon games when theu asked me to buy a 3DS
So far I had owned 3 different handhelds (GameBoy Color, GameBuy Advance and DS) solely to get new pokemon games, but when Gen 6 came out I was 20 and I got seriously tired of the planned obsolescence of Nintendo handhelds.
Hvanet bought any pokemon game since (though I played some post Gen 5 games on emulator)

Same for me minus the DS. Didn't get into pokemon again until recently with the switch 1. Switch 2 seemed better and then they screw people over again with home, Z-A and I assume coming gens so I'm backing out again and not buying the switch 2. Kinda sad I was planning to play Dark Gale etc too but between the recent stuff and the patent trolling GF+ nintendo are being retarded.

Weird thing to complain about those handhelds all had great non pokemon games as well. Sounds like a personal problem. Also I think with those it's less planned and more just that over time better technology becomes cheaper. They could have technically made the switch back then during the switch days but it would have been so expensive no one would have bought it even ignoring the Nintendo tax
