How hard is this shit?I've always just played Pokémon casually. I'm up for a challenge, but I want to know wether or not it will be too much for me.
Is it a bit harder than mainline games? Yes. But you dont have to ev train or worry about natures or anything, plus there is an exp all to make grinding piss easy. It's not annoyingly difficult until the postgame where you kind of have to know what you're doing.tl;dr if you swap your team around a lot (like the game intends through the exp. all) it's not too bad

There’s a few trolly battles that are meant to be a bit frustrating, but the Elite 4 are probably the first legitimately difficult battles. iirc the champion has surprisingly good AI that often makes good switches so it’s hard for you to get hits in.
