Which one of these posts was you, anon? Be honest.
>>
Legends doesn't have an established things its just pokemon with vaguely action esque elements and no fully fleshed out region
>>
I find it quote ironic that for a game supposedly about redevelopment of Kalos, you don't actually build anything like in Palworld
>>
>No unique movement
Source?
>Pokemon don't attack in OW
Yes they do, see pic related
>Rotom bike
Source?
>can't even control Pokemon
Source?
>not even sewers shown
Sewers were literally shown in the last trailer
>Present day slop
It's futuristic as fuck
Where are my hexagon energy barriers IRL?
>>
>>58259943
>Source
No dodging, no rolls, no jumping. You move in a straight line and can croutch.
>Attack
In BATTLE, it says right there. Alphas (and regular Pokemon btw) attacked you in regular gameplay in PLA.
>Rotom bike
Watch the gameplay released retard, there are no ride Pokemon
>control
Are you baiting on purpose? We've seen the game. Pokemon move independently, we just pick the moves. You can't control where they move to.
>sewers
I didn't see them but that's still the same aesthetic as the rest of the game
>futuristic
It's literally present day, same as SWSH or SV
>>
>>58259943
>It's futuristic as fuck
It's "near future" at best. We could have explored Kalos' past and even learned more about the war OR a full sci-fi megalopolis version of Lumiose far into the future, but no, they settled with "Lumiose but 10 or 20 years later". No fucking point whatsoever
>>
Yeah ZA doesn't have enough big empty fields and gender-swapped characters. Where's my bearded Valerie and Lysandre with lipstick?
>>

>control

Not that anon, just one out of the loop regarding ZA. So we choose movements like in mainline but Pokemon move by themselves just to create an illusion of spectacle? Is that correct and no manual dodging/moving required? Excuse my retardness if that's not the case
>>
>>58260119
Pokemon move in the battle arena by themselves and you pick moves like the main series. Only it's not turn based. So I assume some timing will be required but Pokemon placement is completely random and we haven't seen any dodging mechanics or instructions, no.
>>

Thank you, at least I won't be outdodged by some kid or autist when playing online for those Mega stones
>>
>>58259943
Energy barriers are a gamism, not future tech.
>>
>>58260133
Nah anon's lying to you. It's specifically mentioned in demos and trailers that Pokemon's movement is controlled by the trainer's movement. They don’t move automatically, they move to the trainer.
>>
>>58260119
You can literally see in commentary about the demo and actual stock footage that pokemon act like they're leashed to the player and try to get as close as possible to the trainer if you lock off.
Moving your pokemon is absolutely a core part of the game.

That isn't inherently a positive
>Played the Sonic Riders series while waiting for Sonic Crossworlds
>First game is great
>mfw watching the games "try new things" in the following entries
I feel ideally the second game of something should ideally just polish what was there with some new ideas and challenges, but I guess Legends is just their dumping ground for experimentation rather than a coherent subseries. Better than whatever the mainline has been doing but I do just wish we got another ye olde setting. Kalos would've been perfect for it with the war

Sewers were shown.

Yeah, so the Pokemon move by themselves, which is what I said? They stick to the trainer but you still don't control their movement, if they turn left or right, if they jump or dodge. At best you control their area of (random) movement.
>>
>>58260428
>(random) movement.
Except this part isn't there. The movement shown in all footage is incredibly controlled, there is no random movement.

>turn base with a twist
I think you mean downgraded turn base combat from the original games with simplified mechanics for buffs, debuffs and ailments. Your options for moveset are one buff/debuff, 2 coverage moves and one drain move on every pokemon.
