There's pokemon attacking trainers when it comes to alphas and rogue megas, which also comes with rolling to dodge them. The only thing not in the game are heavy and flying balls which makes sense considering it's a city and not the wide wilderness where sometimes you see a pokemon far away in a different area or you have to sneak in the tall grass
