I expect them to have all of them in gen 10 + champions, then skip all of them in gen 11 but keep them in champions, then bring them all back with certain limitations in gen 12+. Maybe limit to only 1 gimmick per team on top of only getting to use that gimmick once (so, you have to choose between dyna, tera, mega, and z.
During one of their interviews in SwSh, Masuda stated that they don't like to reuse a feature until they can give it a "surprising" new twist. His example was the Rotom Bike, meaning they only brought the bike back because they thought that it being able to go over water and boost made it a refreshing new feature and that the bike would not have been in the game had they not thought of that. It's also why regional forms keep having new shit slapped on (regional exclusives, convergents and paradoxes).So essentially, yes, they're retarded and it is reasonable to fear they have some wack shit prepared for megas in ZA likely related to Zygarde.
