A Reminder. Game Freak easily could, should, and feel expected to have every previous gen Pokémon be transferable to every main while still having the games be high quality on top of that. They easily could and that should be expected of them. It is objective fact that the amount of effort for them to have every species of Pokémon be transferable to a main game does not increase over time as the number of Pokémon does when done properly. No a single person here will be able to prove that wrong.

Game Freak should have thought that the idea not having every Pokémon be transferable is so unthinkable and so antithetical to the franchise itself that it should never be even considered.

>>58265329
We lost, the franchise lost. As in, lost to a partial degree something that makes Pokémon unique to other video games series. The dex cut has had several bad effects for the main game series.

>>58265332
More like Pokémon Prison. There's little to nothing that can be done who are inside Pokémon Home. Some "Home" that is.

>The dex cut has had several bad effects for the main game series.
Name them. Mind, these MUST affect me too, not just you and your discord buddies still reeling from being told to fuck off by the world. Because they still have that uniqueness that sets them apart from other vidya in that they still focus on children (which is where your childish obsession with them as a collective was engendered) as proven by every other game in its genre getting humiliated by them over time.

No Delcatty means the games are no longer pro-white
>it has to affect me too
Ah never mind then…
>>
look at the mess they made in the years after with HOME, and the accelerating segmentation of the games into separate apps and add-ons. you shouldn't even want it back at this point. they are giving you every opportunity to break free, but you insist on staying in your jail cell

I'm not delcattycunt lad. So how about you stop dodging the question like a man of integrity and tell me what these bad effects, that affect the entire playerbase are you claim to see.

Pokemon that are still relatively new get cucked out of being in more than 1 game for no good reason like Galarian Rapidash and Mr. Rime

No different to time evos "being cucked out of happening in Gen 3 for no good reason", except to give reason to OTHER games they appeared in in the same Gen. I mean, considering G. Rapidash and Rapidash share a slot. You have a point with Rime, but at the same point AGAIN, most people bought SS than L: A or BDSP (I'd argue a lot of the people who bought either BDSP or L: A bought the other though. Too small a sales discrepancy to claim anything but a shared pool), so they'd have used them had they wanted then. Unlike you, most the world doesn't transfer and of those that do, the vast majority of us have Home and have no issue with the current status quo. Are you going to actually start listing problems, or just complaints you and the discord krew have with growing out of Pokémon's target demographhic, thus turning irrelevant to Game Freak's near-future success?
>>
>>58265531
Not him, but the only cunt here actually INTENT on mindbreaking the little sap (or can I claim I've done it yet? he sperged out and posted a buttload of saved pics of my hands I'd posted as I laughed at his ESL sperging over a LONG period of time).

Holy RENT
That was over two decades ago, Anon
>>
>>58265321
It is too late. The time to ask was with SwSh. And instead they were met with the best sales since Red/Blue. Only to be surpassed by the even lazier S/V.
Nintendo/Game Freak has realized that 90+% of customers are sheep, and will buy whatever is put in front of them so long as it distracts them from real life.
At that point why bother putting in an extra 20% effort for <10% sales increase.
>>
>>58265562
And yet was just as scummy business-wise to the older fans, but kids (probably you seeing as how sensitive you got over its mention) ignored that shit to blindly CONSOOOOOOOOOOOOOM like good little paypiglets. Die in a fire already, you lost and sperging harder won't change it.
>>
>>58265569
Same was true 20 years ago boy. Gen 3's success told Game Freak there WAS a market for their shit still.
>>
>>58265578
>>58265573
At least with Gen 3 they could use the excuse that they completely reworked how the data structure worked. But there really is no excuse nowadays since they're using the same base structure from the early 2000's.

>i don't know how complex and difficult 3D development actually is
You ignoring the actual issue to insist your delusion's reality doesn't actually negate reality lad. Just makes you look like a looper running around online.
>>
>>58265622
>How complex and difficult 3D development actually is
You mean the 3D development where they use slightly higher polycount versions of models from the 3DS? The one where (outside of signature moves) Pokemon still have 5 animations in battle (Idle, hit, KO'd, physical attack, special attack)? That 3D development? The 3D development being done for the highest grossing media franchise in the world by far?
>>
>proving her incomprehension
Cheers daughter, though I pretty much knew you had no scooby.
>>
>>58265607
Reminds me of why you can’t transfer Pokemon out of z-a, because they’re adding Latin America Spanish to the game
>>
>>58265690
Nobody for sure knows why it can't happen, all we have are guesses. If it is because of the new language then that's extreme incompetency on a level not seen before because:
1. There's enough room in the data structure to have a new language (there were multiple unused values for an origin language)
2. This should only affect pokemon from the new origin language (which could easily show up in older games as being from a different language)
3. Pokemon Home already keeps specific data for all games a Pokemon enters anyways (since PLA) to prevent incompatibilities like this happening in the first place.
>>
>>58265734
It's likely an overhaul in the data of the things going forward to Switch 2 (how the games generate them and how Home recognises them). But again, there's only one game on the slate at the minute, so /vp/'s losing their goddamn minds over it.
>>
>>58265752
That's probably the most likely answer, but at the same time still confusing given they've been using the same base structure for a Pokemon (aside from additions like EC and memories) since the GBA.
Weird that they'd be changing it now, and especially weird that they'd choose to break compatibility with a spinoff title of all things.
>>
>>58265778
Legends series aren't spin offs. They ain't trad formula games either, I know but they're Game Freak made and canon to the timeline and universe all core pair games work from, so they ain't spin off.
>>
>>58265903
They’re midquels
