Most of the Pokemon I love have really good shinies, but I really don't like Aggron's shiny, I love the metallic color scheme on normal Aggron with those gorgeous blue eyes, the green/dark teal tint on the shiny is just not good, the red eyes are cool, but they don't contrast at all with the colors of the shiny, which just saddens me a ton.I wished the metallic colors were darker, nearly black, so if you squinted at it hard enough you could make a joke about Blue-Eyes White Aggron and Red-Eyes Black Aggron.

For gengar, it's less that the shiny sucks and more that 3D sucks. It looked better when gengar was a brighter shade of purple, but then they made the base guy darker, and then the 3D models got muted color palettes and the difference got less and less noticable.

>>58266801I like shinies that compose of base body and "accessories" and only one of them is changed, like tinkaton getting a different hammer or regigigas getting it's golden parts turned blue. That's a nice way of doing shinies. This sucks because you get the base body being like 10% of the design and still thinking that changing the gray into slightly-less gray is a good idea without doing anything fucking else.

Galarian Meowth and Gardevoir are probably two of my favorite shinies, I just love the gentle blue on shiny Garde and the beautiful gold on G.Meowth, I really hate that shiny Perrserker loses a good chunk of the golden fur when it evolves, I wanted a golden viking cat.
