However I don't have a specific favorite tapu, I enjoy different things from each, but with the ruins I can clearly say goldgish is my favorite.I do enjoy tornadus and thundurus' therian forms too. Chien-pao is my favorite of them all and one of my top favorite Pokemon, period. Love its design and it's strong, fast has a great Ability, and some really good moves.

>>58267351Treasures of Ruin are the best by a mile, not just as a Quartet, but as a Legendary Set as a whole and arguably even solo acts, and among them Chien-Pao is my top pickGenies are just lame, Therian helped them undo some of the damage by giving them individuality but the damage was done and Enamourous sticks out like a doornail and feels like an unecessary hanger-on then an actually needed addition. Absolutely Cursed set.But man i do love all of the Ruins, even the "Worst" one Wo-Chien is cool and cute as hell.

Some of this may just be cause of having the genies be a constant thing to shit on though. The tapus are kinda sad because they're conceptually interesting but i feel like i end up giving less of a shit about them than the base genies; which to me tells me something is super wrong. The tapus suffer from being built as accessories of sorts.Also obviously therian existing just means they don't even really end up in the same tier in the end.The swords are just sorta okay. Which sure puts them above anyone but the treasures. The treasures are mostly good with Ting Lu sorta dragging it down. Ting Lu feels like a rough sketch of an actually cool mon. Its just some definition away from being a really cool mon, but "nearly" isn't there ultimately.
