The character and Pokemon models are fine, but the environment looks like absolute fucking garbage due to the lack of a solid art direction, often times clashing with the borderline anime-aesthetic of the creatures and characters themselves.They got the environment so right with Gen VI and especially Let's Go only to fuck it all up. To say nothing of frequent texture warping or pop-in, even on the Switch 2.

Turned on a yt video of a guy playing sv. These graphics are inexcusable and like 3 tiers below what a switch 2 can comfortably handle. Absurd. I wish it was different but pokemon just keeps selling brilliantly so the devs and ip owners have no reason to change.
