Full colour scheme changes don't happen a lot, just Charizard X, Raichu X, and the Lati twins so far iirc, but a lot of them change or add to the base form's colours in one way or another. Gyarados' black, Pidgeot's blue, Audino's white, and so on. If Skarmory goes gold, it'll be be like those.
