Conkeldurr. He's everything I like in a Pokemon. Love the smug yet tired expression. Love the casual grotesque nature of its exposed muscle fibers. Love it's Pokedex lore and how that itself ties into the setting. Love its clownish, ogre-like nose. It's gentle. It's brutal. It's a veteran construction worker with decades of experience. It's a blue collar Prometheus that taught us how to make concrete. It's so brutal that it's responsible for brutalism. The only bad thing is trade evolving it, getting one is always a chore. But at the same time I kinda like that too? I like how it pairs with Gigalith as the trade evolver of its region like shadows of Golem and Machamp.
