Gale of Darkness was the first gen 3 game I played and I thought Spheal was one of the starters. Walrein kicked ass there.

I've always found it unfair that when it comes to those "post pokemon ruined by their evolution" threads lanturn is seemingly the universally agreed upon posterchild, but no one ever mentions this guy. And I like both lanturn and walrein, but spheal is just that fucking perfect, it's kind of unfair that lanturn gets all the shit when walrein is equally as forgotten.

This guy gets i specifically remember dunking Most of Greevils team with that big boy. it's hard to dislike water types in general but gen 3 made it really tough to choose.

I thought it was a really cool mon back in RSE because its sprite made it look a lot more fierce

I like Simisear and the other elemental monkeys a lot. Really never understood why people actively disliked them so much. I usually grab Simisear or Simisage during a BW playthrough.

Like how easy they are to throw into any team. Need a physical attacker? Spexial attacker? Both? Just something to fill out that fire/water/grass core? Boom.

They're versatile, cute, and fun.

There are no pokemon with literally zero fans. Some japanese magazine ran a poll a while back and literally every one of the 1,000+ pokemon had a fan. All pokemon are loved by someone.

It's an impossible task. There's at least one fan for every Pokemon. That doesn't mean the discussion is useless, but really the best you can do 'What Pokemon has the fewest fans?'

>But I like it
>But I don't hate it

Not the same as being a fan. You can not hate Luvdisc, doesn't mean you're a fan. But there are Luvdisc fans. Never met one but they logically have to exist. It's gonna be someone with an inordinate love of fish, heart-shaped things, pink, and Hoenn contests because that's what Luvdisc was actually designed for. There's a Luvdisc fan who is still boiling mad that they never brought contests back. There is a person who sincerely wants a Pokemon Coordinator spinoff.

Unown too. Someone caught every Unown. And not for insane completionism but because they love Unown and mysteries and ruin exploration and making a team that spells NIGGER
