In Pokemon Stadium 2 Smeargle can be obtained in multiple different paint colors and pawprint markings. Game Freak decided to remove this only to add pokemon like Minior and Alcremie in later generations.It's simply salt in the wound of Smeargle fans around the world. They ruined its personality. They made it, dare I say, soulless.Pic related, though small is a list of every pawprint/paint combination that Smeargle used to have.Fuck you Game Freak I want my kino Smeargle back.
Game Freak had nothing to do with Pokemon Stadium, so they didn't remove it any more than they "removed" Pester Balls in any game following Pokemon Snap.
