My issue with only one code and the code being Game Specific is that you cant obtain the other one. No one is going to trade for it and I wouldn't trade mine for the other because then I'm missing out of the other one.

Stores like Target are rare to begin with, and GameStop has been closing stores all over the place. Stores are bad about distributing the codes (I had to go behind the counter of a Target a few years back to grab a mythical code for my sister and I...someone could have easily stolen the entire stack). People scoop up tons of extra codes for resale / hoarding. This should have just been a 7 star raid.

The good side is that apparently a lot of things seem to be going wrong this time around, so hopefully Gamefreak will see people being pissy about that compared to liking the Raids and go "Okay, Store Codes BAD" already.
