Catching shadow Pokémon is a pain because they all have a recoil move, shadow pokémon in general are underdeveloped, and no one in the entire game gets more than like 4 lines of dialogue. The game is also super grindy with no way to turn off the animations so if you're not playing on emulator you might be stuck on the final fight for a bit. that all being said I fucking love this game because every battle is a double battle, I wish they'd do that again.

The game is also super comfy with no way to blitz through the animations so if you're not playing on official hardware you might be tempted to cheat yourself out of growing and bonding with your team.that all being said I fucking hate this game because every battle is a double battle, I wish they'd remove them comoletely

It has cool stuff like the atmosphere and Shiny Shadow hunting (or in reality, RNG Manipulation), but there's a lot of wasted potential and battles drag on forever. Plus, this is the only Pokemon game where you have to grind outside of just beating every trainer you see, or else you'll be massively underleveled.
