I genuinely can't decide if I love or hate this. It looks so stupid and yet kind of charming at the same time.
Can't decide if I'd want it to be real either. Golduck looks like it should evolve again not have a middle evolution, but at the same time I assume if Golduck was part of a 3 stage evolution line its stats would've been higher.

weirduck looks alright i guess but not distinct enough from psyduck. not really a huge loss either way

I know what you mean, but I kinda imagine they were going for the Oddish line type deal with the middle stage looking different, etc.
