Every new mon/line in PLA got a new move, either signature like Sneasler with Dire Claw or just limited access like Ursaluna with Headlong Rush, so I fully expect the same to be true of Z-A. Probably a new move for every new Mega. I'd like to see some new signature moves for at least a few returning Megas too, both to make up for the lack of abilities and also just to give them some new toys to play with, but that's probably wishful thinking on my part

The Kalos starters' moves were also learned by other Pokemon pretty early, Maractus with Spiky Shield, Mismagius with Mystical Fire, Accelgor with Water Shuriken, and Throh with Mat Block, but I don't know when they got them. Could have already been like that in XY, or maybe it only happened in ORAS? I don't think it took until gen 7, but don't quote me on that.The only other one I'm unsure about it Throat Chop. I'm pretty sure I remember Incineroar being the only one to learn it by level-up in SM, and then it only became a tutor move in USUM, but I could be wrong, or it could have been an egg move or something.Regardless, even if they were never "signature" moves per se, they were still showcase moves, so to speak. They were heavily associated with those Pokemon and meant to be used and shown off by them. Which is still more than poor Sinnoh and most of Johto got (so far)
